Succinate Dehydrogenase

More information in Books or onNLM PubMed
Definition: A flavoprotein containing oxidoreductase that catalyzes the dehydrogenation of SUCCINATE to fumarate. In most eukaryotic organisms this enzyme is a component of mitochondrial electron transport complex II.      Other names Succinic Oxidase; Reductase, Fumarate; Dehydrogenase, Succinic; Dehydrogenase, Succinate; Oxidase, Succinic; Succinic Dehydrogenase; Fumarate Reductase
