Definition: A DNA virus that closely resembles human hepatitis B virus. It has been recovered from naturally infected ducks.  do not confuse with HEPATITIS VIRUS, DUCK, an enterovirus; infection: coord IM with HEPADNAVIRIDAE INFECTIONS (IM) + HEPATITIS, VIRAL, ANIMAL (IM)    Other names Duck hepatitis B virus; DHBV; Hepatitis B Viruses, Duck; Duck Hepatitis B Viruses
