Definition: A nucleoside diphosphate kinase subtype that is localized to the intermembrane space of MITOCHONDRIA. It is believed to play a role in the synthesis of triphosphonucleotides using ATP formed through OXIDATIVE PHOSPHORYLATION.      Other names NM23 M4 Nucleoside Diphosphate Kinase; Nucleoside Diphosphate Kinase, Mitochondrial; NM23-M4 Nucleoside Diphosphate Kinase
