Definition: A subtype of prostaglandin E receptors that specifically couples to GTP-BINDING PROTEIN ALPHA SUBUNIT, GI and subsequently inhibits ADENYLATE CYCLASE.      Other names Receptor EP3, Prostanoid; EP3, Prostanoid Receptor; Prostanoid Receptor EP3; Prostaglandin E2 Receptor, EP3 Subtype; Prostaglandin E Receptor 3; PGE Receptor, EP3 Subtype
