Definition: A forkhead transcription factor that regulates expression of metabolic GENES and is involved in EMBRYONIC DEVELOPMENT. Mutations in HNF-3beta have been associated with PERSISTENT HYPERINSULINEMIA HYPOGLYCEMIA OF INFANCY.      Other names Hepatocyte Nuclear Factor 3 beta; HNF 3beta Protein; Hepatocyte Nuclear Factor 3beta; HNF-3beta Protein; Forkhead Box A2 Protein
