GATA3 Transcription Factor

Definition: A GATA transcription factor that is found predominately in LYMPHOID CELL precursors and has been implicated in the CELL DIFFERENTIATION of HELPER T-CELLS. Haploinsufficiency of GATA3 is associated with HYPOPARATHYROIDISM; SENSORINEURAL HEARING LOSS; and renal anomalies syndrome.      Other names Transcription Factor, GATA3; Nuclear Factor Erythroid 1C; NF E1C Protein; GATA3, Transcription Factor; GATA 3 Factors; Transcription Factor GATA3; Nuclear Factor-Erythroid 1C; NF-E1C Protein; GATA-3 Factors
