Goblet Cells

Definition: A glandular epithelial cell or a unicellular gland. Goblet cells secrete MUCUS. They are scattered in the epithelial linings of many organs, especially the SMALL INTESTINE and the RESPIRATORY TRACT.      Other names Cells, Goblet; Cell, Goblet; Goblet Cell
