Definition: Drugs that bind to but do not activate ADRENERGIC RECEPTORS. Adrenergic antagonists block the actions of the endogenous adrenergic transmitters EPINEPHRINE and NOREPINEPHRINE.  do not confuse with ADRENERGIC AGONISTS; DF: ADREN ANTAG
