Definition: The biologically active fragment of human growth hormone-releasing factor, consisting of GHRH(1-29)-amide. This N-terminal sequence is identical in several mammalian species, such as human, pig, and cattle. It is used to diagnose or treat patients with GROWTH HORMONE deficiency.      Other names Somatotropin-Releasing-Hormone(1-29)Amide; Growth Hormone-Releasing Factor(1-29)Amide; Sermorelin Serono Brand; hGHRH(1-29)NH2; Serono Serono Brand of Sermorelin Acetate; Serono Brand of Sermorelin; Sermorelin Acetate; Geref; GRF(1-29)NH2; GHRH(1-29)NH2; Allphar Serono Brand of Sermorelin AcetateDrugs* : GEREF
