Definition: A genus of gram-positive, anaerobic, coccoid bacteria that is part of the normal flora of humans. Its organisms are opportunistic pathogens causing bacteremias and soft tissue infections.  opportunistic; infection: coord IM with GRAM-POSITIVE BACTERIAL INFECTIONS (IM)    Other names Gaffkya anaerobia
