Fumarate Hydratase

Definition: An enzyme that catalyzes the reversible hydration of fumaric acid to yield L-malic acid. It is one of the citric acid cycle enzymes. EC 4.2.1.2.      Other names Fumarase; Hydratase, Fumarate
