Definition: Syphilis acquired in utero and manifested by any of several characteristic tooth (Hutchinson's teeth) or bone malformations and by active mucocutaneous syphilis at birth or shortly thereafter. Ocular and neurologic changes may also occur.  do not use /congen & do not coord with INFANT, NEWBORN, DISEASES    Other names Hutchinson's Teeth; Teeth, Hutchinson's; Hutchinsons Teeth; Hutchinson Teeth; Congenital Syphilis
